I just finished putting together a packet for a book that is being published next year showcasing 100 Southern artists. I am grateful to be included, and it should be on the shelves in late 2012. Recently, I purchased a pack of 100 sheets and I am going to do a whole abstract series with line/mark/color. I like the overall structure of the pieces but I am not sure where they want to go yet. A workshop instructor of mine</span><span style="font-family:arial;">, Steve Aimone (www.aimoneartservices.com) taught me that when I need direction or something in a painting is not working for me, go big. Make a big change instead of a small alteration.
